Shri Raghav Govardhan Gaushala Samiti was started only to serve cows. Gradually, their caravan grew, and today they serve the saints along with the cows. They believe that there is no greater service than serving cows. Today, thousands of cows live in the cow shed of Shri Raghav Govardhan Gaushala Samiti.
Shri Raghav Govardhan Gaushala Samiti protects, feeds, and shelters ailing, starving, destitute, and stray Desi cows and bulls, the majority of which are saved from butchers. Most of these Gauvansh are milk-barren. These cows are brought to our Gaushala from tough conditions. All these cows are fed, sheltered, and looked after by hundreds of Gausewaks who work around the clock.
Here, the service of saints is also done with a full heart. Here they are also given a place to stay; not only cows and saints but also birds are given food grains. Everyone is engaged in this act of kindness, day and night. We try our best to ensure that any sick cow gives up its life without food or medicine. We work till the last effort so that they can have a beautiful life.
Why we should donate :-
Donating for cows is often associated with supporting animal welfare, especially in regions where cows hold cultural or religious significance. Cows are considered sacred in Hinduism, and contributing to their well-being is seen as a virtuous act. Additionally, donations can go towards providing food, shelter, and medical care for cows, promoting compassion and humane treatment of animals. Supporting initiatives that focus on cow welfare can contribute to the overall ethical treatment of animals and sustainable agricultural practices.
Our Mission - Shri Raghav Govardhan Gaushala Samiti has to create a high-impact, well-connected movement at all levels that will continually address ongoing cow issues to build shelters across the country, providing food, care, and love for the old, injured, and abandoned cows and cats. We take care of saints, poor, and orphan children. To create awareness regarding the protection of the cows. To campaign for cruelty against cows.
Our vision - To promote and propagate love, care, and protection for cows, cattle, saints, and all Gauwansh.
The cow is considered the abode of all the gods and, hence, the most sacred of all the animals in the Hindu religion. Cow donation is presumed to be a noble act in Hinduism and is part of several religious rituals. However, cow donation is not part of any ritual but a noble practice followed by Hindus. The cow donation is superior to all other offerings. It is believed that cow donation makes a person pure and leads to eternal bliss.

By performing Gau Daan, one can achieve the state of Moksha. The process of donating a cow entails the gifting of the most sacred creature in Hinduism. This act of kindness liberates the donor from the cycle of birth and death.
It helps to gain knowledge and wisdom. Mother cow is the symbol of knowledge and wisdom in Sanatan Dharma. By performing a cow donation, one can gain knowledge and reach a new height of excellence.
The importance of plantations :- Nurturing Our Planet for a Sustainable Future: In a world grappling with environmental challenges, the importance of plantations cannot be overstated. Plantation, the deliberate cultivation of trees and plants, plays a crucial role in maintaining ecological balance, mitigating climate change, and sustaining life on Earth. Plantations contribute to combating climate change. Trees act as carbon sinks, absorbing carbon dioxide during photosynthesis and releasing oxygen. This process helps reduce greenhouse gas levels in the atmosphere, thus mitigating the adverse effects of climate change. Furthermore, trees also provide shade, reducing the urban heat island effect and contributing to overall temperature regulation.
You can also donate to plant saplings and cows in collaboration with our organization. Shri Raghav Govardhan Gaushala Samiti planted plants and trees to keep the environment green. Besides, they also provide a new life to the cows living in their cowshed. All of you together support us in our mission. So that a better future can be built.
The Goal of the Shri Raghav Gaudham is to eliminate the harmful impact of this inhumane and unnatural treatment.
